The Annual DOST Undergraduate Scholarships Test

Today, thousands of 4th year high school graduating students (including my eldest daughter) will troop to the different test centers/venues for the Nationwide DOST Undergraduate Scholarships Tests. The examination is an aptitude test battery for Science and Technology Courses. It covers Intellective Speed Test, Intellective Power Test, and Non-Intellective Test and will last for approximately 4 1/2 hours.
The annual DOST Scholarships Tests is one of the most awaited examinations because of the tremendous benefits that a would-be scholar receives during his /her undergraduate studies in any state universities and colleges or tertiary institutions identified as Centers of Excellence by CHED. A qualifier has the opportunity to pursue four-or-five-year baccalaureate degrees in priority science and technology fields. Depending on his/her category, a scholar is assisted financially for school fees, book allowance, transportation expenses, clothing allowance, and monthly living allowance.  Click on the link http://science-scholarships.ph/index.php for full details of the scholarship program.
